We currently have a permanent position for a Technical Author for a leading Engineering company. The role will be to create a broad range of Technical documentation.

  • To take on project work for product management, production, marketing, copy writing and internet activities
  • Creation of technical documentation for all supplier components
  • Creation of graphics/illustration to support the creation of documentation
  • Liaising with project engineers/managers to ensure the correct documentation is ready and sent out with each project.
  • Writing the material clearly and concisely, making sure it can be easily understood by the target audience
  • Editing, proofreading and indexing Testing and written materials with users

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant qualification/background in engineering is required
  • Experience in writing html and JavaScript is essential

o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Photoshop
o Autodesk Inventor
o 3d CAD software
