Do you have experience within Software Support working as a Technical Support Analyst? 

Are you experience with Microsoft Suite Products, Java Script, Visual Basic or other web based software? 

Enable Futures are operating as an employment business on behalf of its client and recruiting for a permanent Technical Support Analyst based in Bridgwater, Somerset.

A Technical Support Analyst is a crucial piece in the jigsaw puzzle for our clients customer experience. You’ll be that rare blend of technician and listening ear - able to not only understand a problem but sympathise with those experiencing it, whilst offering clear, consistent advice. You’ll be able to juggle the demands of responding to service tickets whilst answering the phone and liaising with colleagues. You will work closely with the Head of Support to flag issues that require escalation and work as part of a team to solve issues in a timely fashion. You will also be expected to use your technical skills to support other teams, such as Account Management. At all times, you should be mindful of our Data Protection and Information Security commitments.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm. The annual salary is £25,0000 PA.

Key Responsibilities:

* Resolve inbound customer queries

* Advise on - and create - spreadsheets to manipulate data to solve customer issues

* Keep all tickets updated

* Ensure as many tickets/queries stay with the Support team as possible.

* Ensure product knowledge is kept up to date with the latest releases

* Collaborate with Head of Support on new content for the system.

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

* Educated to GCSE level. Must have GCSE Maths at Grade C level or above

* Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Microsoft suite of products, especially Excel

* At least one year’s relevant work experience

* At least one year’s software support experience

* Well-organized, good team player, problem -solving approach.

* Can-do attitude, Enthusiastic and positive outlook

* Proactive and empathetic

* Knowledge of SAAS, Java, Visual Basic or other web based software systems.

* Proven track record of software support

* Strong organizational skills

* Problem-solving approach

* Good interpersonal skills

* Multi-tasker

* Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft products especially Excel

* Customer service focus

* Effective communicator, on phone, in writing and in-person

* Able to suggest improvements to the working practises for the Support function of the business
