You'll work as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. You'll work on content for the gov.uk site, helping our users to access the services and information that they need when they need it.

Good content can make a massive difference to user experience and behaviour. You'll write compelling, clear and pertinent content which drives an optimal user journey. The scope and impact of your role is huge and evolving. You'll design content for a range of channels for a massive, diverse audience, including web pages, texts, emails and letters.

Our Content Designers put the user at the heart of everything we do. You'll use research and data to make your decisions and to produce the best possible content.

We want you to create content that makes people's interactions with government as simple and quick as possible. We want you to use your skills and experience to build capability across our Content and Product Design communities. Together we'll help the millions of people that use and rely on DWP products and services to find out or do what they need to, in the way they need to, exactly when they need to .

What we're looking for

  • You're an excellent writer - with exemplary spelling and grammar, you can write and edit using a style guide and plain English.
  • You're a problem solver - eager to understand the problem the team is trying to solve, determined to base your content decisions on evidence from data and user research.
  • You're an advocate for users - with experience of agile and user-centred ways of working, you can explain your content decisions to product managers and put forward the case for content design to senior stakeholders.

The Data Governance Team of an international bank requires a Business Analyst who will support the Data Governance Manager and the Data Management Architect to deliver a new ECM software solution through effective business engagement, and support the migration of business processes to the new solution.

Main responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand and classify existing content utilising a range of Business Analyst techniques.
  • Document both functional and non-functional requirements so that different Document Lifecycles and workflows can be compared to understand synergies.
  • Extract and prioritise requirements to understand which are mandatory and which are more flexible to understand where flows can be standardised.
  • Contribute towards future-state design which standardise workflow, models and data catalogues as part of future-state operations.

 

Experience/Knowledge Required

 

  • Significant experience in performing Business Analysis for projects delivering new ECM/CSP solutions
  • Strong Business Analyst background preferably in Financial Services with the ability to utilise a range of techniques and practices to ensure accurate and effective business engagement and requirements capture.
  • Knowledge of data integration, transformation, storage and analytics.
  • Experience of significant paper reduction across large and complex structures.

 

Competencies and Skills

  • Able to interpret legacy business processes and translate into innovative solution design through effective business engagement
  • Familiarity with graphic modelling approaches and tools
  • Effective Stakeholder Management
  • Knowledge of Data Governance regulation (i.e. GDPR)
  • Understanding of Project Management / Project Lifecycle beneficial

 

The successful candidate must have experience in the banking or financial services sector.
