Your new role
You will be the No.1 in finance with an central role in the company's future growth plans. You will help scale the business with your prior experience and assist the organisation as it builds a relationship with VC. Internally you will be required to drive improvements within finance and create a functioning team around you.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of scaling a business or clear experience in a technology start-up/SME. Due to nature of the position you will also be a qualified accountant who has either been a CFO previously or Finance Director.

My client, a marketing leading provider in software and IT services, have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their growing Change Team. As the Project Manager you will be working with external clients, internal teams and stakeholders to deliver controlled and efficient implementation of new client solutions. It is critical that you have experience of working within financial services and / or within a consultancy environment.

The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering a range of IT and business change projects within a client facing environment. You will have the opportunity to deliver large projects, as well as working on smaller internal changes throughout the business.

To be considered for this position, you should have experience of the below:

  • A proven track record of successful project delivery in a client facing/consultancy environment
  • Experience of working with external clients
  • Previous experience working as a Project Manager in the Financial Services sector would be an advantage
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered in line with the defined requirements
  • Experience of working in a Waterfall environment
  • Project scheduling, including managing resource requirements, using MS Project
  • Managing and delivering projects in line with cost, quality and time constraints
  • Managing budgets and forecasts
  • Risk and Issue management and maintenance of a comprehensive RAID (and variations thereof)
  • Experienced at managing co-located and virtual teams
  • It is also beneficial if you have had experience of working in an Agile environment, although this is not essential.
  • Hold a PRINCE2 or similar Project Management certification
