Your new role
An experienced Trade Floor Support lead is required to step into the role of Senior Support engineer to support users with quick fixes, face to face on the Trade Floor. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to springboard their career within the IT sector. Day to day duties will include managing your own and others workload, capturing all workload activity via Remedy toolset, and overseeing systems and procedures. You will also be the main point of contact for any IT issues that may arise, liaising directly with customers to meet their needs.

What you’ll need to succeed
You must have previous Dealing Room Support experience, along with experience supporting Bloomberg and/or Reuters Eikon, or other market data apps in a dealing environment, as you will be supporting a busy trade floor. You will have experience in working towards SLAs, demonstrating your drive and self-motivation. Minimum 3 years in banking or similar support experience is required within the past 5 years. Previous working experience is as required:
  • Windows 7/10 desktop support
  • Experience of supporting Bloomberg
  • Office 2007 / Office 2010 support
  • Office 2007 / 2010 experience

This is a 3 month contract that will more than likely be extended to 9 months – out of scope.

Your new role

Working in a successful medium size team, you’ll have exceptional front office experience and will be working on the trading floor.

Building cutting edge greenfield applications, you will be using a variety of different languages to successfully complete tasks.

You will need to be a clear concise communicator, and have exceptional team work skills.

Front office experience

Experience with Python, C++ & Java

Good business understanding with either ; Fx, Fx options, rates or credit derivatives

Clear Concise communicator

Willingness to learn
