Project Manager –£55,000 - £60,000 – City of London

My client is a leading provider of Trade surveillance software who are looking to hire a Project Manager to the run client on-boarding and client connectivity set up projects. My client is known globally and well respected and is constantly growing its business, they wish to continue its reputation for providing world class service to their clients.

As the Project Manager you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the on-boarding of new clients, liaising with support, sales other internal teams to provide first class service
  • Provide detailed, clear data specifications and project plans to the client teams
  • The ability to Communicate technical requirements
  • Working with the support team to keep clients fully updated and acting as the single point of contact for its tier 1 clients
  • Work with the Service Delivery Manager and Buy Side Product Manager to document and implement the improvement
  • Concepts of Data specific to Asset Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and deliver excellence in every aspect

I am looking for the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience in the financial technology industry
  • Excellent understanding of financial asset classes, instruments and Market Data
  • Good experience with Jira, SQL and Linux scripting
  • Strong experience with financial data integration projects is needed
  • Strong degree in engineering or computer science desired
  • Excellent client facing and presentation skills essential for this role.

2nd Line Support Engineer required to work within the Information Technology Team for a successful company based in Birmingham. The 2nd Line Support Engineer will be required to provide support within a fast-paced environment.

Within this role the key responsibilities for the 2nd Line Support Engineer will be to provide prompt response to service tickets raised by end users/clients and closing incidents within agreed SLA’s to the satisfaction of the raiser, to do this the successful candidate will provide 2nd line support.  Attributes & Technical skills are as follows:

• Have a university degree or equivalent (3-5 years after A-levels) with an business or IT background, and  several years professional experience in the banking or financial sector, preferably including the implementation of packaged IT solutions

• Have a proven ability to rapidly understand business, functional and technical issues, and to apply knowledge and creativity to finding the appropriate solution(s)

• Working with partners develop a good understanding of our key partner solutions, and how these are integrated, and interoperate with, their Banking System software product

• Welcome the possibility of acquiring a deep and extensive knowledge of the technical (and to a lesser extent the functional) aspects, across our solution components

• Comfortable in discussions on business processes, operations and IT issues in a financial services context  

• Knowledge of bespoke & OTS Banking Systems would be an advantage, as would knowledge of wealth management
