It’s an exciting time within the CIO team, our Portfolio is the largest it’s ever been with exciting Programmes and Projects covering numerous activities such as CRM, Data, Integration and re-platforming of our core operational systems to name but a few. All of these initiatives represent a huge opportunity not only for PRS but also for personal development and we’re looking for passionate team players to join the team.

In order to meet PRS’ digital aspirations, the Data Architect will collaborate across the Enterprise Strategy & Technology Team and other IT functions from a 'design’ and 'operate’ point of view.

The role will focus on promoting best practices and streamlining the introduction of processes, tools, frameworks and methodologies. Whilst working with the transformation team to make sure that data standards are created and adhered to across the portfolio.

The Data Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop data strategies that support the business objectives
  • Define data standards and govern their implementation
  • Capture data architecture to support decision making and solution development
  • Lead / support development of solutions
  • Development of data strategies and their implementation.
  • Develop data standards and govern their application within the Enterprise.
  • Maintain and create documentation to support decision making and solution development.
  • Lead and support solution development.
  • Provide advice / guidance on data usage and exploitation.
  • Monitor the technology market and promote development of future platforms.
  • Maintain awareness of data compliance and its application
  • Support Architect team and activities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and demonstrable experience in data management, utilisation of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. With comprehensive knowledge of design for data management including service, applications and infrastructure, you will have demonstrable knowledge in data modelling including use of common languages (for example UML).

You will also have/be:

  • Excellent communication skills and strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • An awareness of industry trends including new approaches/best practices.
  • An excellent team player both within IT and the wider business
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to constructively influence at all levels across the organisation
  • A change agent - identifying and introducing company wide changes to deliver tangible benefits

You will join the global Cyber Security function protecting the Technology Environment from internal and external security threats. This encompasses Application Security (through secure coding practices, penetration testing, and developer training) Centralised Access Management, Infrastructure Security, Security Engineering and Architecture, Security Application Support, Cyber Defence Operations, Information Security Risk Management, Technology Risk and Audit Management/Technology Service Continuity.

This position is for a Solutions Architect who specializes in Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and has the capability to significantly contribute to the technology solution design and related business engagement for a series of complex projects which make up the IAM transformation programme. The individual must be able to meet demands of working across multiple work streams, communicate effectively with senior technology leaders and business stakeholders. Working closely with the programme manager, the architect must be effective in articulating strategy, developing roadmaps, and influencing the direction for IAM technologies to achieve the goals and objectives of the transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply a deep understanding of Identity Access Management process and infrastructure and applications including the integration with a variety of computer platforms, networks, software applications, and operating systems.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to innovate, simplify, automate and generally improve the IAM lifecycle across the company
  • Define, document, and publicise strategic roadmap for various IAM technology capabilities
  • Influence to ensure alignment and effective prioritisation of product roadmaps to IAM strategy

  • Bridge the gap between various teams for designing solutions with business consumers to fully understand and represent their requirements

Required Skills:

  • Experience with multi-factor authentication technologies and privileged access management
  • Understanding of API design concepts and modern application interaction patterns
  • Strong knowledge across the technology stack such as web protocols, multiple operating systems, hypervisors and distributed systems architecture.
  • Proficient in common enterprise infrastructure technologies, access provisioning and security systems, business systems and supporting delivery capabilities
  • Familiarity with deployments and integrations of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure or AWS)

This organisation is looking for someone who has the personality and desire to build strong internal relationships whilst delivering business critical IAM projects to tight deadlines.

You will possess a breadth of knowledge across the IAM technology landscape with working familiarity of Cyber control frameworks NIST, ISO27001 etc. with a clear understanding of the OWASP top 10.

An undergraduate degree in a relevant technology field or significant relevant experience is a must. Ideally will also have security accreditations such as CISSP or CISA.

This organisation is looking for someone who has the personality and desire to build strong internal relationships whilst delivering business critical IAM projects to tight deadlines.

You will possess a breadth of knowledge across the IAM technology landscape with working familiarity of Cyber control frameworks NIST, ISO27001 etc. with a clear understanding of the OWASP top 10.

An undergraduate degree in a relevant technology field or significant relevant experience is a must. Ideally will also have security accreditations such as CISSP or CISA.
