A Software Solution Architect is required to work alongside the customer, sales team and design team to find, present, demonstrate, describe and estimate IT solutions for potential projects.

Due to increased workloads, this global automation solutions company requires a proactive Software Solution Architect to play a major role in meeting their business goals.

As the Software Solution Architect, you will be required to:

  • Consult for IT concepts and software processes in the sales phase.
  • Ensure that any requirement changes within the project are managed properly throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support testers in the evaluation of potential defects
  • Define software requirements and provides effort estimates
  • Collaborate with software engineers to identify project gaps and related costs and elaborate potential solutions to bridge the gaps

  • Define and document change orders with the customer

The Software Solution Architect should have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of logistics and related processes
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of logistics
  • Knowledge of several software development methodologies and requirements management techniques.
  • Some years of experience with software analysis, specifications and requirements management.
  • Experience in the supply chain or logistics industry
  • Previous experience of working in a team providing software solutions in projects with tight budgets and timeframes.
  • Experience in software development

Our Client is a market leader in their specialism, looking to recruit a high calibre Finance Systems Analyst to be a key support within their Finance department. This position will be pivotal to the growth of the finance team. This is a Monday-Friday role and will include the below responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

You`ll need a background or knowledge of the install of customer premises equipment consisting of VOIP telephony/switch & routers/LAN/WAN and troubleshooting.
The role will suite someone that has come from a strong Telecoms or networking background that has administered VoIP for a re-seller with a large base of customers (500+).

If you are an engineer from an in-house background or looking to be one of the lead members of an experienced support team providing technical support to clients and other engineers with knowledge of CPE equipment such as Draytek, Cisco, Watchguard, Sonicwall, Mitel then we would be really interested in hearing from you.

Training will be provided on the specific voice platform technology, so the role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to add additional skills to their portfolio.
The role will involve looking after clients for the company-based UK wide but you`ll be a desk based engineer in the Deeside office.

The ideal engineer will have the following experience:

*Installation or Support knowledge relating to of business telephony / CPE systems.
*Troubleshooting and support of Switches and Routers (Cisco/Netgear/Draytek).
*Familiarity with survey/project planning concepts.
*Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
*WAN/LAN network experience (highly advantageous).

The Role will include

*Logging customer queries and requests by telephone and email

*Working with customers to identify and diagnose hardware device, software applications, system, and/or network problems and advising on the solution.
*Logging and keeping records of customer issues and solutions.
*Responding to Moves, Adds and Change requests where required in a timely manner.
*Configuring Hunt Groups, Auto Attendants, Subscribers, Call Centres and other features.
*Testing and implementing fault solutions for customers.
*Outstanding problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, attention to details and communication skill, both verbal and written.
*Understanding and anticipate customers needs and requirements. Must be able to establish effective internal and external customer relationships.
*Must be able to plan work and schedule task and activities and manage them accordingly.

Technically you will have experience in support the following:

*Broadsoft and Asterix based Hosted PBX.
*Exposure to traditional IP PBX would be useful.
*Wireshark packet analyser support.
