Junior Web Developer – Python/JavaScript – Cambridge - £25k
This is an excellent junior opportunity to work with one of our clients who are a fast-growing start-up company in the life sciences sector creating scientific molecular software. They are looking to bring on a junior web developer to work build tools for drug design and data analysis for pharmaceutical companies. Your technical skill sets will grow whilst being at this company as you will be led and taught by the senior developers.
You will be exposed to full-stack web development, dev-ops, product specification and project planning.
Skills Needed:
- Foundation experience with web programming languages
- Experience with Python or JavaScript
- Experience with front end frameworks e.g VueJS, React
- Experience using a linux based environment and container deployment – docker & kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Familiar with the main tech stack
- Python/Django/GraphQL (Back end)
- VueJS ( Front end)
- Using docker on AWS
- Essentially being taught a computational chemistry course
- Working and gaining proficiency on Linux
