Role & Responsibilities

  • To then identify and document a set of technical requirements in JIRA following an Agile method to address specific technical requirements.
  • The Business Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner and Delivery Manager and third parties where needed.

Successful delivery of change will require appropriate understanding of the business priorities and the ability to influence an approach to meet strategic priorities.

With experience of developing ETL processes and undertaking data cleansing, you will have a strong background of data analysis and be capable of working with the business to improve data quality and data management.  A familiarity with reporting tools, scripting and ETL tools is essential as is experience of running workshops and the ability to produce high quality documentation including process flows.

You will ideally hold a BCS Practitioner Level in Business Analysis, a recognised equivalent or suitable practical experience and have a housing association or local government background but this not as crucial as the strong technical and BA skills.

Our Luton based travel industry client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Project Manager on a Fixed Term contract until the end of December 2020. This role is to deliver an internal core IT system (ERP).

Our aviation travel client operates Fixed Base Operations (FBOs) across their growing worldwide network of locations. They are part way through an implementation of an internal IT system (ERP) and now require a Senior Project Manager to come in and take control of the delivery and ensure a successful implementation by the end of 2020. This system has already been rolled out across the USA but requires customisation to meet the needs of the European FBOs.

Based in Luton, you will report into the VP of Project Management(based in the USA) and work closely with the BBA Programme ManagementOffice as well as internal and external technical and businessresources.

In this role you will need to be seasoned in persuasion, conflict resolution, leadership, dealing with ambiguity and building rapport with the team and customer. This is a vital role and as such requires a candidate who can effectively navigate uncertainty and deliver when under pressure and. Demonstrable experience delivering large complex IT system projects is essential.

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering core business system projects (ERP).
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including leadership of project teams to meet deadlines and ensure successful, quality production of deliverables; development, execution and administration of project schedules; project management fundamentals including budget management, issue and risk management, resource allocation, change management and RFI/RFP development
  • Able to build deployment plans for large scale implementations
  • Proven project management, leadership, and communication skills at all levels of an organization (written & verbal)
  • Demonstrated facilitation between business units and technology groups
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work and act with minimal supervision
  • Flexible and able to change to the needs of the day to day requirements
  • Must possess a strong customer service attitude
