On behalf of our highly successful client, a world leader in embedded digital security, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a technical aptitude and the experience of working with large corporate clients. The role is on offer for an attractive salary of between £35 - 55K pa, dependant on experience, plus excellent company benefits and will involve occasional travel within the UK or Europe.

The role is customer and product focused and will centre around client change management. Acting as a single point of contact for the client, the Project Manager will be taking responsibility for the overall project delivery, managing and planning each phase, managing tasks, people and resources from initial request through to handover. This will also involve implementing effective project controls, providing regular reports, managing test plans and ultimately deliver the project to completion. The role will also entail offering pre-sales support for new products, services and solutions and collaborate with internal teams offering support and guidance.

The perfect candidate will come with solid project management experience of at least 3-5 years, ideally, you will have been a lead project manager and you will have worked within a client facing environment involving large corporations. We'll be looking for someone with a pro-active and 'can-do' approach and the ability to problem-solve under pressure to meet hard deadlines. You will need be an effective and confident communicator, able to work well as part of a team with a results orientated approach, able to deliver against targets and objectives. A project management qualification such as Prince2, PMP or Agile would be of advantage as would be the experience of working within a secure or regulated environment.

Summary
In response to continued growth and client demand, our client - an established & highly successful tech firm based in Northamptonshire - are seeking an experienced Finance System Implementation Consultant on a full-time permanent basis.

You will be responsible for supporting clients through their finance and billing implementation projects, whilst maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.

Responsibilities
*Provide an exceptional level of service managing client projects, implementing a suite of bespoke finance and billing solutions,
*Successful on-boarding and servicing of clients, from project inception to handover and support beyond,
*Be the main point of contact for clients migrating from their existing finance systems, OR for new clients seeking a new finance & billing solution,
*Disseminate & persuasively promote the benefits of the company's finance products & systems to new & existing clients,

Requirements
Essential:
*A background in finance system implementation, migration projects & training for clients,
*Good people skills - experience communicating with finance personnel, together with a solid understanding of accounting terminology,

*Good analytical & problem-solving skills,
*Be a highly organised team player managing multiple products & capable of working to strict deadlines,
*Be self-motivated, assertive, proactive & possess initiative,
*Valid driving licence, willing & able to travel within the UK & occasionally Internationally to support clients as required (expenses reimbursed),
*DBS Clear.

Preferred:
*Experience of finance system implementation & management for clients,
*Education sector experience, ideally within the finance / bursar function,
*Proven experience of working in a similar role to the one described,
*QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified or part-qualified accountant or proven QBE. All qualifications should be relevant and up to date,
*SYSTEMS: extensive Sage experience, cloud-based accounting (Accounts IQ preferred), MS Office incl. Excel & PowerPoint.

Job Role

  • My client requires a Knowledge Engineer to join their firm and join a team of engineers, providing a number of knowledge solutions for clients, fee earners and the wider business, using their innovative 'TechSet' systems.
  • Initially, the role will focus on systems the firm have created, however, the role will expand to cover more Innovative Systems, AI, Bots and Machine Learning Systems as the team develops and expands.
  • You will work closely with our Legal Technology Solutions team based in London, who will product manage the TechSet systems and gather requirements for development by you.
  • Using the Contract Express software to automate documents and ensuring that the output complies with the firms' house style and is formatted, cross referenced and numbered correctly.
  • Creating maps using 'the decision-making AI tool' and deploying portals using the 'collaboration platform'.
  • Building any other solutions as required using TechSet or other knowledge systems as detailed above.
  • Keeping up to date with new features and updates on the TechSet systems and providing feedback to the Legal Technology Solutions team.

Skills Required

  • Any previous experience working in a Knowledge/Legal Solutions role
  • Experience working in a legal environment, ie Paralegal
