My client is tearing the old telephony model to pieces with a best in class integrated cloud solution. In response to the strong positive, global uptake we’re looking for 2 Customer Support Engineers to provide exemplary technical support and customer service.

This role is an entry level role where full training is provided and there is excellent career development opportunities. This is the first interface into the Clients Support Team who ensure their corporate customers receive the most timely response and resolution to their problem.

Working from their HO in East Croydon, you will comfortable helping international customers by working on a shift basis anytime between 6am-10.30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours working week)

Customer Support Engineer package:

  • Basic salary to 22k per annum doe
  • 22 days holiday + BH (increases on anniversary to max of 25)

The Customer Support Engineer role responsibilities are typically:

  • Ownership of calls, including responsibility for resolution, escalation, or close
  • Take all inbound queries via calls, Chat and CRM System
  • Provide customers with user-friendly explanations; following up via email and telephone
  • Test, troubleshoot and escalate customer concerns to Tier 2 Support as necessary
  • Contribute to Knowledge Base articles

As Customer Support Engineer you will ideally have the following:

  • Good A level results or equivalent
  • Experience in a Customer facing role (this can be weekend work experience)
  • A keen interest in new and upcoming technology, analytical, logical, enjoy troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of networking (Routers, Wifi etc)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ambitious, self-starter able to work well autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work within tight time scales
  • Professional attitude and appearance

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and established SME technology business, based locally in the Camberley area (free on-site parking available).  This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) position – standard hours of work 09:00 to 17:30. Your responsibilities will include processing sales orders, raising POs to suppliers and producing monthly billing reports for customers.  You’ll also be co-ordinating the shipping of equipment to customer sites, arranging for the collection of packaging and excess equipment, and co-ordinating travel and hotel booking arrangements for engineers.  A smaller part of the role will involving Stock Room management, and there will be occasional heavy lifting involved in this aspect of the job.  This will include receiving deliveries, recording Goods in/out, assisting with the maintenance of stock records and some picking/packing.  You will also be arranging for the testing of returned equipment and arranging for the disposal of equipment when required.
