The role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a growing business in the heart of Bristol with over a decade of experience as a leading provider in their field! As a Junior Project Manager, you will be a bright and personable individual bringing a wealth of experience and personality to the table. They, in return, will offer you a fantastic environment to continue to grow, learn and flourish as a professional in a brand new office in the North of Bristol. You will be working closely alongside the Project Delivery Manager and their tight knit team, overseeing the delivery and implementation of projects helping to drive direction in line with the business requirements.

Your role will include a wide variety of support including both Account Management and Project Management. Your main role will be to assist the Team in the delivery of the software, to both new and existing clients in a timely and controlled manner. You will be a personable and friendly individual assisting with customer facing support and generating and agreeing project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months commercial experience in an IT setting ideally within a Project Manager/Similar position however if you are looking to make the change from software development to project management then this opportunity will allow that. You will be working within an agile environment therefore having experience planning and implementing daily scrums would be beneficial.

Strong communication skills are essential for this role as you will be having regular communication with stakeholders and clients. They are a close-knit team that have a clear passion for technology who truly take pride in their work. Essential skills

  • Previous experience working within an IT environment, ideally alongside software developers (6 months +)
  • The ability to communicate technical/non-technical issues with clients.

  • Ability to accurately specify client technical requirements for Development team.
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues or documenting for the Development Team to resolve.
  • Ability to manage own workload to ensure on time delivery.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with MS SQL Studio and Query language (SQL)
  • Waterfall/AGILE experience
  • Working knowledge of programming languages
  • MS Azure
  • ISO
