An award-winning Architectural Studio who are renowned for their socially driven and sustainable-led projects, seeks a meticulous and industry-experienced Document Controller to join their team on a maternity cover contract of 9-12 months. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Document Controller seeking a friendly, collaborative and inspiring working environment from mid-May 2020. Operating alongside an IT Manager and other support team members, the Document Controller will bring impeccable attention to detail, superb communication skills and IT-savviness with the ability to pick up new systems, processes and protocols swiftly. Core responsibilities will include liaising with project teams, clients and Consultants to upload, download and share drawings, reports and specifications across extranet sites. In addition to this, the Document Controller will be communicating with external system support advisors to ensure the consistently smooth running of electronic platforms, maintaining superb standards of quality control across all documents and updating the Document Management system drawing register. Issuing electronic and hard copies of drawings and documents will also be included in the remit, as well as self-initiating audits on drawings and documents to ensure they are properly submitted.

To be considered, you must have at least 3 years’ experience overseeing Document Control for Architecture, Engineering, Construction or other Built Environment-related companies, with a strong working knowledge of EDMS and Excel as well as a solid foundation in AutoCAD. Understanding of Revit and Deltek is advantageous, but not essential.
