Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is the team behind your Experian Free Credit Score and the advanced CreditExpert product. The ECS Technology team work as part of an Agile business that has been through a complete technical and organisational transformation.

Now working as part of cross functional delivery teams that include Product Owners, Developers, Designers and Quality Assurance specialists amongst others, we are deploying new versions of our applications multiple times per day. We’re using modern technologies such as React.js and more than 100 microservices that combine to form a cloud native platform we are proud of, and that our customers love.

We’re a growing team, and we need more people who can help us build exciting journeys and features for our customers, whilst also helping us keep this as a great place to work. We hope you might be the one!

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer. Full Stack means different things to different people, but at ECS Technology we mean that you’ll understand how to build for the web using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, that you’re comfortable writing backend code in either C#, but that most importantly you are excited to try new technologies and different ways of working.

We are an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity in all our teams. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status - we work hard to make sure that you will feel at home here whatever your background.

Some of our developers have Computer Science, Mathematics or other technical degrees. If you have this that’s excellent, but don’t worry if you don’t. What we really value is that you have demonstrated an ability to produce real working products on the web, and you have a good grasp of the technologies that you’ve used.

You will need good knowledge of at least:

•C# and .NET Core

•HTML, CSS, and building for both desktop and mobile browsers.

•JavaScript

•REST APIs

We use these following technologies to build our products. These are not mandatory, but we’d expect you to be knowledgeable about one or two of these:

•Node.js

•React.js or Vue.js

•Development and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins and Travis

•AWS

•Docker

•Splunk

You’d be joining an Agile delivery team who use Scrum and would be part of an organisation that works using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You’ll find it easiest to understand the way we work if you’ve worked using Agile delivery methods in the past, but it’s not mandatory.

Does this sound like you? Interested in finding out more? You should apply - we’d love to talk to you! #
