Support Engineer, 1st / 2nd Line, Active Directory, Office 365


As a result of an exciting period of change and transformation, we’re currently seeking a motivated Support Engineer, 1st / 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst with experience of working with technologies such as Active Directory and Office 365, to join a market leading, Kettering-based, employer.

What will the Support Engineer be doing?

The 1st / 2nd line Support Engineer will be part of a three-person team, serving as a point of escalation to a dedicated 1st line team.  The successful Support Engineer will be providing predominantly 2nd line desktop support to approximately 1500 users – a combination of onsite and remote users.  

What do I need?


• Demonstrable 1st / 2nd Line desktop support experience

• Experience with a variety of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office, including Office 365

• Experience with Active Directory, including Group Policy 

• Basic server and networking knowledge 

• Experience working in an ITIL environment would be a plus

  • DHCP/IP
  • VLAN
  • Patching servers
  • VMWare
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Remote Desktop Services
