My Nottingham based client is currently looking for a talented Test Analyst to join their test and development team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and exposure of working in both Waterfall and Agile environments. You’ll be working closely with the Senior Test Analyst in the team to create detailed test scripts and cases and ensure web applications are thoroughly examined before release.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Senior Test Analyst and Development team in an Agile environment
  • Create and execute detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Web application and cross browser testing
  • End-to-end across both the SLDC and STLC
  • Maintenance of automation suite
  • Always look to fine tune and improve quality testing processes
  • Raise and track all defects using Zephyr
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience in working within an Agile environment
  • Web application and API testing (Postman, SoapUI)
  • Familiarity of working with Zephyr
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Gherkin
  • ISTQB/ISEB
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Test Analyst

Responsibilities / Essential Skills

  • Help deploy and support data centre Infrastructures
  • Responsible for maintaining and reacting to established monitoring, and ticketing systems
  • Work collaboratively with other in-house data centre engineers and customer if/when requested
  • Assisting with data centre infrastructure growth projects and external teams for the installation of new data centre equipment
  • Escorting/supervising third party vendors within data centre
  • Good knowledge of rack & stack of various IT hardware
  • Raising, Managing & Closing Service Tickets

  • Working with copper and fibre networks including cable types & testing
  • Low level network device configuration (Management Layer)

  • IT Services Experience

Their SaaS platform is built with a microservices architecture with multiple web/mobile applications built on top. They use Java 11 on the back end and they are leveraging a combination of open source and third-party libraries/frameworks such as Eureka, MongoDB, ElasticSearch and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Other technologies they use include Kotlin, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudBees, Angular 6/8, TypeScript and many more!

Essential requirements:


- Experience with Java 8 and Java 11

- Good coding ability with JavaScript and experience using Angular 6/7

- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases

- Experience with various cloud-based technologies

- Experience with REST API design and microservices architecture.
