Senior Java Developer

£500/day - Inside IR35

Contract - 6 months - Crawley

Looking for a Senior Java Developer for a 6-month contract starting as soon as possible over in Crawley for a travel company. You will be involved in designing and developing software in a micro-service architecture as well as generating estimates for future development using Agile.

You will need to be at a Senior level with strong proficiency in Java, an understanding of DevOps culture, familiarity with AWS, containerisation platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes and have the ability to liaise with other members in different teams to maintain projects and develop functional support for the company's products.

Skills/expertise:

  • Straight Through Processing 
  • Decision making- will consult on strategic decisions but will make key day-to-day decisions and their execution.

  • Perform the setting up of the system, this will include any minor development work required to integrate the system into the existing architecture.
  • Understanding the capabilities of the system from both a functional and technical perspective
