My growing client is currently looking for a Golang developer to help create and support plugins after their transition to Gsuite. You will be working in a small team to complete this and the project is projected to last for 5 months, they currently have a budget in place for £450 per day but would consider a junior who is asking for less or a senior who can justify a higher rate!

We are working in close partnership with a leading financial services client based in London. We are looking for experienced Business Analysts with a focus on an AGILE and DATA SCIENCE background.

Key roles and responsibilities:

The Business Analysts will be an “agent of change,” who identifies and executes new opportunities for the businesses to capitalize on technology. The successful Business Analysts possess strong foundational data science skills, as well as an ability to develop strategic business and project plans, identify key performance indicators, create use-case scenarios, and engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. They must be able to take a holistic view of a business problem or challenge, and work with various individuals to get the information necessary to drive changes through.

Responsible for identifying important business questions, applying the appropriate statistical techniques to harness structured and unstructured data, and performing complex data analysis to extract useful information and develop conclusions. Responsible for protecting an organization’s data and ensuring that all data repositories produce consistent and reusable data.

Duties

  • Aid in the development of records management processes and policies
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Drive the design for automated data processes for data discovery
  • Identify, evaluate and implement services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to business flows
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present to senior management
  • Provide quality metrics for benchmarking of data points
  • Produce and track key performance indicators which aligned to Line of Business Sponsorship
  • Liaise with internal clients to fully understand data content and commercial usage / Business opportunity
  • Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations to aid commercial opportunity

Skills & Experience Required

  • Business analysis experience
  • Knowledge of specialized analysis techniques and tools to determine how businesses can use data to make more informed decisions

  • Excellent Business Intelligence reporting skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills using AI or ML techniques

The Role as Solution Architect

The client is seeking a Solution Architect is to lead the technical design of all the systems in scope of the programme (ERP/MDM). This includes a suite of new tools which will be implemented through the programme as well as a suite of legacy tools and applications to which integration will be implemented. 

Duties include;

  • Architecture decisions support both business and Technology requirements and strategy, and that architectures delivered (logical and physical) are aligned with our architecture standards and principles. 
  • Follow the internal governance processes to get key architectural decisions signed off by the Technology Architecture Review Board. This role will work with other key architects across the organisation to ensure alignment, coordination and collaboration.
  • Review and understand the As-Is architectures and define the To-Be strategy and be instrumental in ensuring this is delivered in line with the project timelines and scope.
  • Where solutions have not yet been selected, be accountable for solution evaluation and selection decisions. You will be a key member of the project team devising business cases, estimates and forecasting. 
  • Gather requirements and specifications from stakeholders to gain a complete sense of expectations and limitations.
  • Identify potential issues between systems and business specifications and propose new solutions to work around these limitations.
  • Determine the project’s scope before developers begin any major work.

The Solution Architect Candidate

The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must have gravitas and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience implementing and maintaining solution architectures under any formal framework for their domain of architecture.
  • Technical knowledge and experience deploying solutions with large data sets on cloud platforms.
  • Experience as a Solution Architect on large ERP, MDM projects.
  • Strong Technical Literacy – ideally with a computer science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical Assessment skills.
