They will be open to learning new cyber and IT skills and developing flexibly to match changes in the security landscape. An Information Security qualification (CISMP, CISSP, MCSA) would be helpful, although we do offer meaningful training where appropriate.

The key areas of focus for the role include working with programme managers, operational and service leads to develop more integrated, effective and streamlined self care; integrated care partnerships; hospital discharge; assistive technology; integrated commissioning and market management arrangements.

You will take a lead role on developing robust processes and procedures and ensure that information on good practice and organisational learning is widely available.

You will oversee the production of programme documentation, including programme plans, reporting templates and completing national Better Care Fund (BCF) returns.

In addition, you will manage new ways of ways of improving the quality and speed of communications from the programme to providers, staff and wider partners.

The Person

The candidate will be able to work effectively with senior stakeholders, have strong programme management skills, analytical skills and experience of working across health and social care settings. But above all, the candidate will be hard working and passionate about improving care for people.

The candidate will also need to demonstrate:

  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Educated to degree level (or evidence of equivalent level of education).
  • Detailed knowledge of the specific portfolio.
