We are looking for Network Delivery Managers for our expanding client within the Telecoms Infrastructure sector.
Network Delivery Managers are responsible for the delivery of their respective PON’s in compliance with H&S and Quality standards whilst meeting Customer SLA’s.
You will lead a team of supervisors / engineers and contractors where appropriate. You will monitor the delivery and recording of health and safety audits and quality audits. Appraisals and performance management will be conducted with all Network Engineers.
You will also deliver appraisals and performance management of Supervisors & Engineers. Network Delivery Managers are responsible for overseeing and ensuring both Supervisors & Engineers have appropriate certification and equipment to fulfil their duties within Health and Safety regulations and their workmanship is of appropriate standard.
They will be responsible for auditing such certification and equipment to ensure compliance with appropriate Health and Safety legislation. The role includes liaising with both the client, customers, third parties and interdepartmental teams as appropriate, to ensure compliance. This may include meetings with local authorities and onsite meetings providing technical expertise.
You will monitor urgent/high-profile customer escalations to ensure the satisfactory conclusion to the issue. It is the responsibility of the Network Delivery Manager to maintain the client relationship. To ensure understanding and consistency of the working relationship is maintained always.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of Supervisors & Engineers
Work with Supervisors to review quality audits of Network Engineer equipment and certification in line with Health and Safety Legislation
Deliver coaching and feedback to all Supervisors in a prompt and timely manner. With all results recorded accordingly
Manage customer urgent or high-profile escalations and complaints in a prompt and professional manner ensuring a positive customer service and satisfactory resolution
Monitor workload distribution and completion to ensure KPI’s are met
Ensure the maintenance, provision, and stock control of appropriate PPE for all Field teams
Conduct 1-2-1 meetings, performance management and appraisals with Network Engineers
Competencies
NRSWA/ CSCS certification
Proven experience in the field with a thorough understanding of the network
Strong organisational skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritise work load
Ability to interpret data and flow charts
Understanding of risk management and quality
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Working knowledge of IT and Microsoft products including Excel
Experience working with design schematics, duct diagrams and works instructions - Preferably hold existing BT accreditations or have previous BT experience
