Job Title:
Chanel IT Support Technician (2nd line support)

Queensway Croydon / Mayfair London
Reports to:
IT Service desk Manager
MAIN PURPOSES OF THE ROLE
The IT support technician will be responsible for 2nd line support of all IT incidents and requests in Chanel. The user base is approximately 1700 users working across multiple sites in the UK and Ireland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Incident Management:
Office 365 support (Outlook / Teams etc.)
Active Directory Administration
Windows 10 desktop/laptop support
Printer Issues
Shared drives
Support telephony issues
Support of iDevices including iPhones and iPads – This includes using IBM Maas360
Support of AV equipment
Networking and Patching support
VPN support for remote users
Cyber Security
Basic Point of Sale support
Basic support of PQD’s
Some VIP support when required
Request Fulfilment:
Starters / Movers / Leavers
Laptop imaging and configuration
iDevice setup and configuration
Desk and equipment moves
Procuring stock when required
Raising Purchase Orders
Asset Management
Essential candidate requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or experience in a similar role
A minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant role, providing IT support in a multisite environment
ITIL V3 Foundation certified
Must be able to work across both sites (Mayfair and Croydon)
Desired experience and skills:
IT Project Management/Support experience
Excellent analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail and a methodical work style
Highly articulate with strong communication skills
Demonstrable experience working to tight deadlines and balancing competing demand from senior stakeholders
Windows Server 2012 through 2019
MS Office Application Suite
MS Technologies (AD, DNS, RDP, DHCP, GPO, Security Groups)
Endpoint management (antivirus, remote management, backups)
Solid understanding of desktop level connectivity and networking issues (LAN, WiFi, client VPN)
Experience configuring and supporting iDevices such as iPhones and iPads
Strong written communication skills with the ability to document accurately and thoroughly
Experience supporting AV equipment
VIP user support
