As our MI Analyst you will develop, deliver, maintain and communicate timely and accurate management information (MI) to all stakeholders. You will also generate insight/MI which supports decision-making and action across Vitality and ensure best practice and development of skill sets across the team.

Responsibilities as our MI Analyst:

- Report requirement capturing, creation/development, enhancement and distribution

- Support the migration of manual reporting into Spotfire to improve efficiency and automation

- Take an active role in representing Sales and MI throughout both BI and Analytics Clusters and wider key stakeholders

- Use detailed economic and mathematical models to predict the outcomes of changes in the business model to sales

- Updating and distributing existing reports including business area and product specific reports

- Empower and encourage development and production of new sales performance reports and dashboards in line with Sales Operations Strategy

- Collating, investigating, publishing and communicating results to distribution management

- Responsible for timely delivery of data submissions to third-party data providers

- Identifying anomalies and data issues and developing solutions to improve overall reporting

- Answering complex queries relating to data sets and helping to develop the understanding of junior team members

To become our MI Analyst, you will have the below skills and experience:

Essential

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject (computing / programming / mathematics / statistics)

- Advanced experience of data analysis and report building in Excel

- Data manipulation, Formula creation, Charts and graphs, Pivot tables

- Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and querying using T-SQL

- Advanced skills in report building using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

- Experience in Spotfire, Google Analytics and Salesforce

- Understanding of relational database architecture and querying

- Advanced knowledge of reporting tools (SSRS, Spotfire, Power BI, etc.)

Desirable

- Experience of working within a Sales lead orientated background as an analyst

- Pervious leadership or management of an MI Team

- Familiar with Python or R

- Understanding of the UK Private Medical Insurance market
