The Client:

Our client, a leading supplier of industrial products, is looking for an experienced customer support administrator to join their technical support department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective telephone support to distributors & end users.
• Ensure that all Repair Order Forms are entered, monitored and completed in a timely manner.
• Certify that all correspondence via e mail, royal mail, fax telephone is responded to within the specified time frames
• Provide effective support to all technical support staff.
• Process /chase warranty returns to agreed procedures
• Investigate and respond to distributor & end user queries.
• Ensure all administration is completed to required level
• Progress chase customer complaints to satisfactory resolution.
• Continuing liaison with Sales, Service Dept. & Warehouse
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Technical Supervisor/Technical Manager
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required.

The successful candidate will be located from our client’s plush IT Operations Centre in Milton Keynes and form part of their award-winning Global Service Desk function with direct managerial responsible to around 20 service desk analysts based locally in Milton Keynes and throughout the APAC region.
Responsibilities

- Provide team leadership and direction to the APAC IT Service Desk Team and ensure pre-defined SLA’s, OLA’s and KPI’s are achieved.
- Ensures that all phases of support lifecycle are coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked and resolved appropriately.
- Conduct performance management and progressive counselling as and where required.
- Contributing towards the knowledge management platform to drive staff collaboration and development
