We are accountable for the delivery of business change and technology transformation for Risk, Finance and Treasury Functions globally, working in partnership with our Business customers to develop and implement long term strategic IT solutions to help achieve the Firm’s strategic goals.
Consumer Risk, Finance and Treasury Technology is accountable and responsible for the effective management and ongoing development of a number of key applications, systems and platforms within Risk, Finance & Treasury. Managed by an extremely experienced team, all experts in their individual fields, Consumer RFT Technology is primarily data, architecture and technology focused but also benefits from an exceptionally well developed business interface and operational understanding.
What will you be doing?
•Drive continued conformance to Group Data Management Policy and Standards and BCBS239, ensuring maturity rating remains as Satisfactory, as a minimum
•Support the development of a Target Operating Model for management of Data Lineage lifecycle within CRFTL and Consumer Risk Data Domain
•Establish and roll out accountabilities & responsibilities (including RACI) for data management and governance activities
•Implement a Data Controls Framework that aligns and supports adherence to the Group Data Control Framework
•Drive the data standards with Consumer Risk Data Domain and CRFTL owners to ensure governance quality, lineage, definitions, Authoritative Data Sources and Reference Data (S1-6 of the Group Data Management standards) are enforced, reported and escalated appropriately
•Support the Head of CRFTL Risk & Control in managing SOX compliance and Data Control activity across estate, working with internal and external auditors
What we’re looking for:
•Understanding of SOX compliance and all associated supporting principles and processes.
•Understanding of Accuracy, Completeness, Data Integrity and Correctness in the context of data quality both for reporting and models
•In depth practitioner level understanding of Group Data Management Policy and Standards
•Strong stakeholder management skills, whilst maintaining focus on the outcome regardless of conflicting priorities.
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Knowledge of BCBS239 principles and controls
•Good understanding of the principles of risk management e.g. practical experience of operating according to the three lines of defence risk management model.
•Excellent written and oral skills. Able to communicate complex and detailed topics to a wide variety of audiences, and to articulate complex data in a simple manner.
•Have demonstrable experience of risk management, within a FCA regulated environment.
Where will you be working?
This role can be based in either Knutsford in our offices in Northampton depending on the successful candidate.
