A well-established and market-leading business that has been operating for over 40 years across the UK is seeking a proven Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Administrator to join their growing team based in central London.
 
Reporting into the Infrastructure Team Leader and part of a team of 7, the successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining and supporting a large virtual server environment, hosted on-premise, multiple data centres and the cloud. Duties will include server administration, troubleshooting operational issues, implementing new technologies as well as some project work such as moving infrastructure to the cloud.
 
In order to be considered for this position, you must have proven experience in an IT Infrastructure Engineer, Windows Systems Administrator, 3rd Line Engineer or similar infrastructure role in an enterprise-level (200+ servers / 1100 users+) environment.  It is essential to have good knowledge of Windows server (Wintel), Virtualisation (VMware), Cloud (AWS / Azure), and scripting (Powershell / Automation). The ideal candidate will also have some relevant certifications such as VMware, Windows or ITIL, but this is not essential.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a key admin role within the finance team and will be highly interactive with all areas of the business.

The successful candidate will need to be highly organised and be able to provide efficient and accurate processing and reporting function for the business.

The duties will include:

- Completing all routine processing

- Maintaining high levels of accuracy

- Processing invoices, payment requests and payment runs

- Weekly bank reconciliations

- Preparing weekly cash and deposit reports

- Raising invoices

- Handling queries from multiple stakeholders

- Preparing cashbooks

- Monthly VAT and CIS return preparations, as required

Previous use of Oracle would be useful but is not essential, as would having a relevant finance-focused qualification and / or degree.
