A leading provider of technology used by investment banks and brokerage firms to manage their FX trading operations is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team in London. Their multi-award winning platform is used by Tier 1 through to smaller banks and brokers to support pricing, risk management and trading of FX instruments.

The role

  • Manage a book of customers; create account plans, understand current state and future state ambitions, devise strategies and ultimately execute on these to protect and increase revenues from your accounts
  • Build strong relationships with customers from user through to CXO level to understand what they are trying to achieve and how they need technology to accomplish this including new products and services and bespoke assignments
  • Identify risks and opportunities and work with various team internally including sales, product and support to deliver to these ensuring the client is happy with the outcome
  • Provide regular reports on your accounts against targets to senior management
  • Provide input into the product team to support the product development effort
  • Represent the brand at industry and networking events

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will come from an FX background with both technology and markets experience
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and call on internal support as required
  • Proven ability to create and execute on a comprehensive account plan
  • Team-player able to build strong relationships internally and leverage these to ensure the best possible outcome when team action is required for a client

Roles and Responsibilities:

This is a hybrid Enterprise sales role focussed on both hunting and farming within existing accounts in Germany. You will be a specialist Cyber-Security sales person, working with teams globally to execute against targets.

  • Focus on the enterprise landscape; financial, retail, manufacturing and pharmaceutical verticals;
  • Win new Enterprise logos;
  • Execute sales plans according to monthly milestones and ACV targets;
  • Utilise Social Media, Networking and other sales methods to build relationships;
  • Run full sales cycles from prospecting, qualification, negotiation and closing in your territory;
  • Collaborate and develop partners in the accounts/territory;
  • Use Salesforce to report and analyse all activity;
