InForm Support Analyst

Are you an experienced InForm support professional? Are you energised by solving problems that are a mixture of people, process and technology within a faced paced environment?

If yes, this is a fantastic opportunity that will utilise your problem management skills and build your expertise in InForm support, vendor management and computer system validation in a pharmaceutical environment.

The Role

Within GSK R&D, we have a dedicated organisation that ensures our clinical systems are validated, compliant and remain fit-for-purpose during their entire lifecycle.

Accountabilities of the InForm Support Analyst include:

Provide exceptional customer focussed support of InForm, Central Designer & UMT tools - involves working directly with users and vendor helpdesk to resolve issues
Develop and maintain computer system validation documentation including independently managing and leading User Acceptance Testing assignments
Partner with InForm Business System Owner to ensure the system remains compliant, validated and inspection ready (GCP, FDA CFR Part 11 etc)

Successful candidates are typically, inquisitive, comfortable with technical concepts, possess high personal integrity, courageous, accountable and able to work with colleagues across a host of geographies and functions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Solid Oracle InForm (EDC) and Central Designer support experience

• Computer system validation experience within a pharmaceutical GCP setting

Preferred Skills

Deep understanding of Oracle’s InForm EDC product – able to articulate how its configuration, implementation and integration impacts business processes
Experience of leading the validation of computer systems within a regulated pharmaceutical environment
Clinical Data Management experience
Able to demonstrate good knowledge of processes, procedures and regulations (GCP, ICH, FDA CFR Part 11) related to clinical data management and sponsor obligations relating to computer systems

We are recruiting a Cloud Operations Engineer to administrate and design cloud architecture and solutions for cloud platforms. You will have a background in design, automation, deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure. You will have experience with DevOps as well as Operation support across all services including networking, security, compute, storage and serverless. You will develop scripts to automate the deployment of Azure and build enterprise solutions using Azure as well as maintaining and supporting the cloud services platform.

  • Strong Cloud Infrastructure and Networking, Hub/Spoke, Hybrids, Zones, Fwd/Rev Proxies
  • Strong Scripting Skills (Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, Azure CLI)
  • Terraform / ARM Templates / Ansible
  • Linux and Windows (VM images with Packer beneficial)
  • Docker / Kubernetes (PaaS)
  • Git/GitHub/Active Directory/IAM

Setup and manage backups, patching and AV/malware software across environments. Ideally you will have experience of automation and provisioning approaches using tools like Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python, C# and knowledge of configuring and managing Windows and Linux environments.

Certification advantageous e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Guide of expected deliverables:

  • Support activities with ongoing project work, namely the Data Lake, Actimize and other Finance projects. Business hours only. This will include build out as well, where applicable.
  • Author and Publish Azure policies ensuring governance and security best practice are enforced.
  • Foster good practice via automation through the creation and maintenance of scripts and templates.
  • Work with the internal network teams on the VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute setups.
  • Build an on-boarding process and associated automation scripts for project spokes (Azure Hub-Spoke model). Self Service.
  • Continuously monitor Security Centre ensuring any vulnerabilities are correctly raised, documented in 'design decisions', agreed with Cyber Security and actioned accordingly.
