Our manufacturing partner has an opportunity for a User Engagement and Technical Support Analyst to join the IT team in .

The user engagement team provides technical support to the UK across all offices and remote workers including in scope applications, systems and networks through internal and external service providers. This includes all aspects of end user computing, voice, mobile phones, networks and limited application issues. You will provide onsite technical support for 40 collegues on all level for evolving business goals.

You will be involved with
  • 2nd line IT support (1st when required)
  • Troubleshooting
  • Data management
  • IT equipment maintenance
  • End user communication


Responsibilities
  • To provide 2nd line (1st where required) IT support, resolving technical issues
  • Train users in new infrastructure services, for example proactive involvement in the roll out of new applications and hardware services
  • Ensure full IT compliance across the business by implementing, adhering to and promoting security and governance standards
  • Setting up user workplace, setup end user devices, including but not limited to computers, local printers, telephone devices, screens, hot desks and local multifunction devices. Configure smart mobile phone devices for compatible services and supported applications
  • To provide troubleshooting assistance to end user devices
  • Configure and troubleshoot home/remote working kit, including but not limited to home broadband routers, mobile internet service/devices and printers/scanners/faxes/multifunction devices
  • To prepare, create and maintain hardware, software inventories and asset registers for all software and hardware in use.
  • Setup, maintain and troubleshoot meeting room equipment including but not limited to conferencing (audio and video) and presentation equipment


Required skills/experience
  • Experience in a technical support role (1st / 2nd line support/desktop infrastructure) with networking experience and responsibilities
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other incident management tool to manage end user incidents
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products
  • ITIL experience or completed ITIL foundation course would be preferred
  • Understanding of IT compliance and security is an advantage

If you have a strong and proven background in Service Management technical delivery in ServiceNow and one or more of the following areas we want to hear from you:
* ITSM, ITIL, ITAM, CMDB/uCMDB
