As a Data Scientist you will have the opportunity to work within a growing team reporting directly to the companies Head of Data. The company uses Data to improve customer safety and satisfaction by utilising a large scope of Data Science techniques and methods. The company has been working on several exciting projects over the last few years and have really maximised the value of their data. The Role

In this role you will be working within the Data Science team. Making vital business decisions and solving business problems using a number of methods, including pricing and customer retention models. You will also utilise your Machine Learning capabilities working with IoT sensors and anomaly detection models to improve customer safety and experience. You will also be suggesting new Data Science methods that could help push forward the company's business goals.

Specifically, your day to day responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Building Machine Learning models to help achieve specific business aims
  • Identify new techniques that can be deployed across several teams and projects within the business
  • Report your findings directly to the Head of Data and other key business heads
  • Contribute to the mentoring of junior Data Scientists and the training process

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong knowledge of Machine Learning techniques including Anomaly Detection, Pricing, and Customer Retention Models
  • Experience working with AWS, Python and Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to technical and non-technical business heads
  • Commercial experience working in the Transport sector with knowledge of IoT sensors

My client is a new business banking challenger based in Central London. They are looking to bring the personalised element to this market by targeting SME's and require a Senior SDET to facilitate this.

Specification

  • Providing specialist testing advice and delivery
  • Accountability for managing testing activities on projects within a program or service
  • Supporting activities within sprints
  • Experience of Azure infrastructure build
  • Experience of working with containers such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience of creating and maintain automation framework
  • Creation and management of mock services
  • Perform quality testing on projects to agreed processes and timescales
  • Collaborate with other team members and business stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and acceptance of completed work
  • Experience of preparing test documentation
  • Experience of using JIRA, Zephyr and Qtest
  • Have experience in API testing using SoapUI or Postman
  • Have experience in test creation using Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor
