Mid-Level UX Designer - Cirencester
Benefits include: 1-2 Days WFH - Flexible Working Hours - Birthdays off - Lots of socials
How's UX and User Research treated in your current team? If you're left feeling like an after-thought, fear not, as I'm working with a SaaS business where UX is at the forefront of every single product, without fail.
Which is where you come in. This company, are now looking for an inquisitive UX designer to help bring simplicity to all 4 of their products.
There's a team of 4 designers at present across UI/Visual and UX design and are looking for another UX'er to join them. The structure of the team is cross-functional, so you'll be the sole UX designer on that specific team and will be expected to engage with the devs, the other UI/Visual designer and Product Owner.
The design team is quite new in terms of the business, but their lead designer is an advocate for creating a culture where they will test all their own designs. They are also looking for someone who has experience in building or being a part of a design system, as this is something they're looking to introduce in the near future (although this isn't necessary).
They're looking for someone who has an obvious passion for bringing people and technology together through research and design. You'll be expected to understand the problems they're trying to solve through user needs through a variety of different methods user research, prototyping, testing and data analysis.
Overview:
- Carry out User Research using different methods, such as interviews, workshops etc. (some travel)
- Frame user problems and stories
- Research user personas and behaviours
- Co-ordinate structure online or in-person user interviews to test ideas
- Analyse test results to draw data-driven and evidence-based conclusions
- Map out user journeys
- Sketch, InVision, Adobe CC
- Collaborate with UI/Visual Designer to develop mock-ups into hi-fi prototypes.
This company are exceptionally good at what they do, they are super collaborative and are looking for a UX designer who can think outside the box, who's inquisitive and isn't afraid to ask difficult questions. In return, you get 1-2 days WFH, birthdays off, lots of socials and a great culture.
