Major UK Financial Services company are looking to build out their in-house Data Science team in Brighton! They need a Data Scientist with STEM academic background and commercial experience to join them! Your role as a Data Scientist will include but not be limited to:

  • Use machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new scalable solutions for business problems.

  • Strong knowledge of network design and implementation principles
  • Advanced knowledge of communications device management and policies
  • Experience of cloud platforms (Azure/ Amazon AWS)
  • Experience with virtualisation tools (eg. VMWare/HyperV)
  • Knowledge of DBMS solutions such as Oracle or SQLServer
  • Knowledge of EDI principles and configuration of SFTP, HTTPS and digital certificates
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure monitoring
