Responsibilities:

  • Development. You take ownership for the feature full software development life cycle - design, coding, testing, deployment

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Strong experience of software development in any of the following: C, C++, Java, Golang
  • Strong experience architecting and designing distributed systems that meet stringent performance and availability requirements

Role Purpose

The bank is looking for a business analyst with good understanding of bank business to provide BA support to business departments and coordinate with HO/3rd parties

Responsibilities

o To provide support to business departments for completion of the Business Requirement Documents according to bank requirements.

o To produce and enhance Business Requirement Documents for business departments by communicating with good understanding of business requirements against system functionality.

o Liaise with HO system developers, business departments and support resources as required to facilitate business change and development management requirements. Coordinate with HO, including translating notifications from HO and collecting feedback; completing HO tasks; drafting weekly work report to HO.

o Business data analysis using Excel/SQL tools as required.

o To provide support to business departments by developing business reports tailored to HO/bank's platform.

o To provide support to business departments in product/system testing includes: 1. compile UAT requirements from all stakeholders, 2. draft/review UAT plan/request document and submit to HO and 3. Run EOD batch.

To understand and analyze production issues, coordinate relevant resources to solve the issues, include the remedy/enhancement works afterwards. To provide solutions to stakeholders.

o Assist PMO manager to produce professional template, report, policy and procedure documents to make project running more efficiently with high quality Other ad hoc as requested and any other duties that are assigned.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

o Excellent language skills of written and spoken English, fluent Mandarin speaking and writing are preferred.

o Able to interpret user business requirements and present them to developers and vendors in appropriate content and form.

o 3-4 years' experience as a Business Analyst in bank industry.

o Good knowledge of bank business, preferably in regulatory reporting, client on boarding, AML, financial control, risk management, compliance and treasury.

o Good knowledge of structured database. Experience in writing SQL queries, experience in Cognos platform is preferred.
