Fourthline are working with an international insurer who are looking to add a Application Security Manager to their team. This purpose of the role will be to enhance the SDLC framework to provide advanced application security guidance and direction across the EMEA region. The role will be expected to understand where automation is appropriate, DevSecOps models, and be able to both assist, implement and manage an application security framework. It is based in london with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, educate, promote, and monitor the use of secure software development practices
  • Provide regular status reports on the security of the software within the EMEA organization
  • Provide advisory services to application development teams during development cycles
  • Primarily responsible for application security assessments as part of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), promoting self-service assessments where appropriate, and tracking through to remediation
  • Assist with periodic security risk assessments, IT security audits, and management reporting
  • Follow application security scanning process, including analysis, communication and remediation verification
  • Identify areas where automated secure coding tools and processes, to review code as it is written, can be promoted through the development lifecycle and into production, applying oversight and governance where appropriate

Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of application security within SDLC, with proven ability to apply knowledge to use case
  • Demonstrated ability to apply application security knowledge to broad range of technologies and make sound recommendations to constituents
  • Knowledge of project lifecycles, with working experience of Agile project methodology
  • Experience interpreting and complying to security standards and guidelines
  • Experience within the insurance industry or financial services preferred
  • At least 5 years IT experience, working in a technical discipline
  • At least 5 years working experience of security technologies
  • At least 5 years experience working in a senior technical role, with exposure to senior management, and proven stakeholder management skills

Reporting directly to the CEO, this high profile role will be based in London with some European travel as the majority of our client’s development team is based outside of the UK. Main Duties & Responsibilities:
As Head of Product, you will be responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products. You will collaborate with global commercial services partners and customers to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment. You will be working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.

  • Turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.
