For one of our clients, we are looking for experienced Agile Tester with solid technical skills to help implement agile testing principles.

You will work with our senior manager to help the client transform and move to agile testing. As a role model, you will be embedded in a scrum team, where you will

  • Champion the role of Agile testing by reviewing acceptance criteria making sure they are complete and have captured all scenarios,

  • Ensure features are tested within sprint according the definition of done-ness
  • Demo features to product owners and stakeholders
  • Challenge technical decisions,

  • Attend dev forums to understand what is going on and how that affects quality,

  • Review unit tests to make sure they are being implemented and measure coverage with tools like SonarCube

  • Establish automation architecture and drive the process to involve the whole team

  • Transform the scrum team to continuous testing and eliminate manual regression testing.

This role is initially for 4-6 weeks as a pilot project with the potential for a long term extension for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who really understands what Agile testing and in-sprint automation really mean. Someone who knows that test automation isn’t just about regression or Selenium.

Your profile:

  • Solid IT experience and previous experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud

  • JavaScript Frameworks/API's such as Angular/jQuery/React advantageous

The Data Governance Team of an international bank requires a Business Analyst who will support the Data Governance Manager and the Data Management Architect to deliver a new ECM software solution through effective business engagement, and support the migration of business processes to the new solution.

This is a contract role and applications are sought ASAP.

Main responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand and classify existing content utilising a range of Business Analyst techniques.
  • Document both functional and non-functional requirements so that different Document Lifecycles and workflows can be compared to understand synergies.
  • Extract and prioritise requirements to understand which are mandatory and which are more flexible to understand where flows can be standardised.
  • Contribute towards future-state design which standardise workflow, models and data catalogues as part of future-state operations.

Experience/Knowledge Required

  • Significant experience in performing Business Analysis for projects delivering new ECM/CSP solutions
  • Strong Business Analyst background preferably in Financial Services with the ability to utilise a range of techniques and practices to ensure accurate and effective business engagement and requirements capture.
  • Knowledge of data integration, transformation, storage and analytics.
  • Experience of significant paper reduction across large and complex structures.

Competencies and Skills

  • Able to interpret legacy business processes and translate into innovative solution design through effective business engagement
  • Familiarity with graphic modelling approaches and tools
  • Effective Stakeholder Management
  • Knowledge of Data Governance regulation (i.e. GDPR)
  • Understanding of Project Management / Project Lifecycle beneficial

The successful candidate must have experience in the banking or financial services sector.

The job aims to increase the likelihood of products being designed and built which can effectively operate/run, and drive adherence to operability standards and controls, ultimately driving a proactive approach to Continual Service Improvement.

Job Purpose:

The Technology Service Management Service Quality job is responsible for managing the embedding of Technology Service Management disciplines into the day-to-day activities of the Technology teams (success being delivering agreed levels of availability of service and no repeat incidents), ensuring best practice is followed during all phases of the product lifecycle (with significant focus on the run phase).

This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:

  • Engaging all relevant stakeholders (CIOs, Service Management Practice Head, Infrastructure Management Head etc.) to maintain visibility on their service availability, operability metrics, risk appetite, incidents and control effectiveness and to provide robust challenge to the same audience when risk appetites are threatened and instigate the incident process when risk appetite is breached
  • Acting as a conduit to the Service Management Practice as a whole from the Technology team, and ensuring that operability requirements are given appropriate focus throughout the development and operations lifecycle
  • Overseeing effectiveness of controls to ensure compliance with Service Management and Infrastructure Build policies and standards
  • Ensuring an effective engagement process is in place that is demonstrably adding value to all target stakeholders
  • Ensuring close co-ordination with the Service Management Practice Process Leads so that their process execution remains fully aligned to the rest of the organisation.
  • Collaborating across DevOps teams to ensure consistency, and continuously improve Service Management Process execution
  • Provide guidance and help to DevOps teams in relation to Service Management Processes to balance speed to market against operability, stability and availability

The above will have an ultimate goal of ensuring that service management practices & tools are modernised and aligned with DevOps & Agile ways of working in order to increase velocity safely and deliver highly reliable systems. Scope includes service request, event, incident, problem, release and capacity management, with a strong focus on reducing toil work and engineering out issues and technical debt though tooling, automation and processes re-engineering.
