Reporting To: UK Sales & Marketing Manager

Location: South-East London

Introduction

Our client are an established Cloud, IT and communications B2B reseller in the UK. They have been trading for 18 years and deliver technology solutions to business and the Public Sector.

Position Overview

The Assistant Account Manager will serve as the face of the company. Working very closely with existing company accounts and the Account Management team. You will be responsible for contacting, attracting, managing, maintaining and developing all aspects of the client relationship. Your role is desk based and contacts are made primarily by telephone so an experience of Telemarketing and appointment booking in a B2B environment is essential.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the in-house sales team in meeting its specific targets
  • B2B Appointment Maker
  • Generating quality leads from your calls
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to retain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross selling
  • Make outbound calls to the new Leads and discuss the firm’s process, outlining benefits of our products.
  • Work to and hit KPI’s and Sales targets
  • Administration of pricing, quotation requests, technical information/knowledge to clients and colleagues
  • Working with the sales team as an internal support function to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Suggesting company products/services that maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate answers to customer queries.
  • Achieving business targets, expressed in terms of re-signs, revenue, new product lead generation, revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Update CRM when any contact is made with a customer or prospect.

• Proactively monitor and fix infrastructure problems

• Confidently configure and manage Active Directory to process starters leavers and transfers
• Troubleshoot advanced topic areas such as firewalls, Virtual Infrastructure, backups, and mobile devices
• Monitor email security service traffic and exceptions

• Capture new knowledge acquired on the job accurately and record it in the knowledgebase

• A minimum of 2 years in an IT support role
• MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) or MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) and/or other relevant/equivalent technology qualifications
• A good standard of education
• Good knowledge of PC hardware and architecture
• Familiarity with the Windows Desktop in a networked environment
• The ability to build friendly and effective relationships internally across all departments
• Excellent organisation skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor communication appropriately
• The ability to identify opportunities to improve/optimise internal processes and methods
• A full, clean valid UK driving licence (car not essential)
