The role itself will consist of a mixture of outbound prospecting activity with warm and new clients, utilising different technologies including phone, email, messaging. Targeting different markets form SME’s to large corporates, you will have the opportunity for a wide and varied week by week experience and really learn to ply your trade as a customer focused technology consultant.

The main purpose of the role will be to handle escalated IT problems and speak to customers to maintain service levels.

  • Hours of work: 8.30am – 5.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle 2nd line IT problems
  • Update customers through tickets, over the phone and face to face
  • Upsell other products where relevant

Due to business growth my client is looking for a Test Analyst to join their team, based in Hull. Working alongside the development team and other Test Analysts, you would be responsible for working on a suite of products.

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you would be responsible for augmenting the existing testing function with a focus on increasing the amount of automated testing performed.

Technical Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience software testing in a commercial environment
  • Prior experience of automated testing and volume testing

Duties to include:

  • Development projects
  • Developing and maintaining test functions
  • Execution of testing activities, both manual and automated
  • Preparation of testing plans and test data

Experience of SOAPUI, SQL and Selenium is beneficial

The role will be to take on the responsibility of the completeness, accuracy and integrity of their data and the production of any management information that may be required.

You will be liaising with various people, including platform providers to ensure data feeds are set-up, running MI, data reports and audits and manage small changes on their support tool JIRA.
