We are seeking a Graduate, or equivalent, who would be excited at the prospect of joining a young entrepreneurial business. We are looking for someone that can bring creativity, lateral thinking, flare and a new perspective to an already successful team.

We require someone that can test the functionality of website changes from a user perspective, including helping to set up automated testing of website forms. They will have the opportunity to get involved in developing new website features from design through to implementation on the live site.

This vacancy will suit a bright and motivated graduate, or similar calibre candidate. Previous software testing experience would be ideal, but not essential, as full training can be provided. Starting salary will be adjusted to reflect the existing skills of the applicant.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will be guided by the Test Manager to help complete tasks on behalf of the team, this will include manual testing with a view to learning how to help automate the tests over time.
  • You will assist in developing testing plans for testing forms/pages across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
  • You will test according to these plans and report any problems, liaising with the software developers, where necessary, and seeing changes through to implementation.
  • There will be the chance to get involved from the very beginning of technical development, doing your bit to help ensure that only quality software is deployed into our live systems and is thoroughly tested throughout the software development life cycle.
  • On the job learning will form a strong part of this role, which will be backed with more formal training through online and external courses, including the opportunity to study for the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) qualifications.
  • The job holder will also be expected to assist with other office administrative duties as required.
