A well-established financial service provider with offices just outside York is looking for an experienced and talented Front-End Developer to help them drive a number of key projects to the next level.

The company is looking for a Senior Developer with a real passion, and who would like to work in a talented development team on some exciting projects. DUTIES
The Senior Front-end Developer role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Front-end development, with a at least 4 years' commercial experience with the following skill sets:

*4+ years proven commercial development experience
*Excellent understanding of HTML5/CSS3
*Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript design patterns
*Experience with automated testing and JavaScript testing frameworks
*Understanding of JavaScript/CSS performance optimization
*Understanding of mobile development/responsive design
*Understand common UX/UI design patterns, best practices, and standard conventions
*Excellent understanding of web standards and browser compatibility
*Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
*Experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS, Ember, Backbone,js, Knockout.js or other JavaScript frameworks
*Strong interpersonal skills experience with and enthusiasm for working in an agile environment

In this role you will be involved in transitioning from traditional BI and data processes to future state, real-time data capture; data housing and exploitation through future cloud technologies whilst also playing your part in improving operational support within database technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement efficient ETL processes with the necessary logging and tracking.
  • Interpret business requirements into intuitive Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Design and develop data marts & cube technology.
