An enterprise organisation are seeking an experienced Software Asset Manager to join their IT Operations team.

The company are in the process of a fasted paced transition, so this is an excellent opportunity for a strong Software Asset Manager to join the business and be part of the transformation.

This role is a good opportunity for either a Software Asset Analyst looking for progress to the next level in their career or an established Software Asset Manager to join the business and help in the delivery of Software Asset Management strategy.

This is a varied role and as a Software Asset Manager you will:

  • Guide the delivery of complex software requests and for changes that may affect software usage
  • Control and manage the Software Assets effectively
  • Produce license positions across a wide range of Vendors
  • Manage new software onboarding and accountable for reviewing and authorising software requests
  • Maintain and review operational processes regularly with relevant teams
  • Work with resellers - leveraging your current expertise in specific IT Software

  • Analyse and provide credible data for license usage
  • Up to date with changing commercial landscapes and investigating impact to current licensing models

The successful Software Asset Manager will have:

  • Experience working with software partners delivering specific Software Asset Management services, while maintaining the aim of securing best value
  • Ability to prioritise time - focusing on a risk-based approach
  • Experience of using Software Asset Management software
