We're ideally looking for someone with:
- Experience of formal technical project management methodologies (preferably Agile).
- Experience of working within Higher and/or Further Education sector.
- An ability to engage with appropriate staff in research councils, HE and FE and Skills sectors, including but not limited to institutional leaders, information service and research and teaching staff.
- Expert statistical knowledge is not required, but the postholder will need the ability to understand general statistical concepts.
- Experience of working with groups and individuals to understand their aims, needs, current position and other relevant information and offer tailored solutions.
- Experience in working with groups and individuals to deliver technical and pedagogical information and develop skills.
About the role
The main purpose of this role is to provide expert technical advice, guidance and support to universities and colleges as they implement analytics services. This may include the delivery of on-site consultancy and training, online support and the development and delivery of consultancy support solutions.? The post holder will be also be expected to provide support to the institutions during the main rollout phase, acting as key contact, and holding regular meetings with institutional contacts.??
Responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to?elements such as the Provision of analytics consultancy services to colleges and universities.?providing support to colleges and universities during the on boarding, pilot, implementation and deployment of the services.?Actively promote knowledge, understanding and expertise on data analytics technology to discussions, forums, conferences, and workshops - promoting and developing Jisc's reputation for excellence in and understanding of data analytics.?

Location
This role can be based in Manchester, Bristol, Harwell or London.
Connecting with each other is a doddle, thanks to our technology, but getting face to face is something we value and find time for when we can, so you may need to travel on occasion. Our main offices are in Bristol, Harwell, London and Manchester.
