THE ROLE:

The role of Head of Data Science will involve leadership, hands-on data science and data strategy.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • You will be using advanced analytics and data science to solve business problems around revenue generation, client churn, HR analytics, manufacturing, predict maintenance and more.
  • You will be building out the strategy and focus on setting the road map of how data science can benefit the business.
  • You will be communicating complicated concepts, with the aid of data visualisation and storytelling, to less technically minded colleagues.
  • You will be growing and leading a team of data scientists.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Head of Data Science will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to Master's level in a STEM degree focused in quantitative methods and statistics (Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics and related fields)
  • Proficiency in programming languages, statistical analysis tools and different data storage systems - Fluency in python is essential
  • Proven commercial experience working in a hands-on data science position
  • Proven experience leading a team of data scientists
  • Experience building up the data science function in a business is desirable

Senior DevOps Engineer required for a software solutions company based in Kent. You will be working with industry-leading teams across product and operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage Core development and delivery systems such as TFS
  • Manage builds, deployments, and configurations in production and preproduction environments
  • Develop an understanding of the CI/CD Pipelines to automate and enhance SDLC
