Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Team provide a range of support to the business across several areas including 1st and 2nd line support, monitoring production systems, information security and business continuity. The team are also responsible for ensuring IT processes, policies and procedures are correctly followed and implemented.

Information Security Analyst Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join the team who will:

- Provide support to help the company improve its security posture and adhere to security policies, expected controls & regulatory requirements.
- Have a good understanding of recognised governance frameworks and architecture (e.g. PCI DSS, ISO27001 etc.).
- Serve as a key liaison point between the Information Security Team and the business.
- Actively contribute and manage a wide array of security projects.
- Ability to deputise for Information Security manager in their absence and be confident in making decisions and will take a pragmatic, proactive approach to work in order to respond to a variety of demands.
- Planning and Internal ISMS Audits to meet ISO 27001 requirements.
- Plan and conduct other security control audits to assess compliance with Information Security Policies and Requirements.
- Report on the design and operational effectiveness of Information Security Controls.
- Monitor progress of corrective actions against remediation plan.
- Ensure adherence with IT security standards including ISO27001 and PCI DSS requirements.
- Create and enhance administrative, operational and technical policies and procedures, adopting best practice guidelines, standards and procedures.
- Day to day infrastructure maintenance and user support.

Information Security Analyst Requirements:

- Broad knowledge of enterprise IT systems / infrastructure.
- Experience of working in a technical / support environment.
- Good understanding of IT Security with some prior experience in this area.
- Strong Windows technology skills – Active Directory groups and permissions, GPO’s Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 and Windows 7, 10.
- Good understanding of Business Continuity Principles.
- Experience with production monitoring systems.
- Creating, implementing and maintaining monitoring jobs.
- Ability to understand and advise on technical security controls, threats and vulnerabilities.
