This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious iOS Developer to join our rapidly growing in-house Technology Team. Working with our iOS team, the successful candidate will be responsible for building on our existing iOS app; adding new features from our product roadmap and constantly looking to improve its performance (we’re pretty proud of our 5 star rating). We’re looking for someone who thrives in a close-knit agile team, takes pride in their code and is truly passionate about technology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a highly scalable, bespoke native iOS app that integrates with our e-commerce platform (Magento) and third party systems (e.g. Payment Gateways, ESP’s) 
  • Work with a Cross-functional team to plan and deliver new features
  • Iterate on the existing app’s UI and functionality to improve the user experience
  • Work to constantly improve the performance of the application
  • Regularly write unit tests


Essential skills and attributes:

  • At least 2 years previous experience developing for iOS
  • Proficient with Swift 5 and iOS frameworks
  • Good knowledge of Apple’s HIG, design patterns, coding and naming guidelines
  • Good understanding of GIT, JIRA and CocoaPods for dependency management
  • Experience with Auto Layout and collaborating with designers
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms beneficial, especially Magento
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience with RxSwift is beneficial
  • Experience with Protocol Oriented Programming
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Takes pride in writing clean and efficient code
  • Always willing to learn new skills and explore emerging technology
  • Constantly up to date with new technology and excited about bringing new ideas to the table

  • Knowledge regarding debugging a complex, multi-server service in a high availability production environment.
    * Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS

    * Management configuration tooling such as (Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt)

    * Testing, setup and configuration of monitoring/alerting tooling (OpsView, Nagios, ELK, Graphite, Grafana, Zabbix, etc…)
