This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a prestigious brand, sitting amongst the trading desks. As a RAD Engineer at JPMorgan Rates, you will work for the largest and best interest rate derivatives franchise in the world, in London, the global home of Rates trading.

 

The Rates RAD team are responsible for the design, build, and management of the Front Office tools used by the linear interest rates securities and swaps trading businesses.

 

The team not only sit with the traders but also work in close partnership with the Quantitative Researchers and other application teams to build and maintain the desk tools which build and manage the interest rate curves underpinning the entire business.

 

The team also own applications that model trading risk and predict P&L;  calculate the prices which FO quote;  publish prices out to electronic trading platforms - and much more.

 

The successful RAD Engineer will work in a dynamic environment where a thorough understanding of interest rates trading and a responsible, analytical approach to programming deliver the constant change which keeps JPMorgan’s traders at the top of the market.

The role involves (but is not limited to):


  • Responsibility for end-to-end certification of Macro e-Trading execution platforms.

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Influencing the development of strategies and architectures across the bank, identifying transformational opportunities for the business and technology areas associated with both new and existing technologies
  • Defining major components of our target infrastructure architecture and roadmap, making sure that these support the strategic aims and those of its franchises and functions

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with experience of defining business or application architectures and roadmaps for complex enterprises, paired with a background of working with business solution vendors, technology vendors and products within the market.
