A traditional, privately owned M&E Contractor are seeking Project Managers.

Client:

Working throughout several sectors including commercial, residential, pharmaceutical and education, the business has seen a significant amount of growth in the last 12 months. Project:

Working closely with a renowned main contractor our client has successfully negotiated a large pharmaceutical project. Project duration is for 2 years. As a result, the business is seeking to expand their operations team.

Mechanical Project Manager - paying GBP350-GBP450 a day depending on experience

Role:

Based in Cambridge the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a GBP10M package within their discipline; depending on size and complexity. Reporting to a project director the position will be supported by a team of engineers and supervisors. You will be expected to take the project from pre construction through to handover. Relationship management, team coordination and project reporting are key to this position.

Role/Responsibilities:

* Tender review/validation

* Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)

* Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant

* Technical submittals

* RFIs - Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MS SQL Server Database Developer to take a newly created position within a global leading online firm based in the Bank area of Central London.

Due to continued growth and expansion my client requires an additional SQL Developer to join their London based software team to work across the Back End of their online platform.

Working with the product owners, stakeholders and senior developer, you will be responsible for agreeing to development resolutions and technical designs. You will be fully involved in end to end development life cycle from initial requirements gathering, to design, coding, testing, and delivery.

Cognizant is seeking an experienced privacy counsel to join its global privacy team, reporting directly into Cognizant's Chief Privacy and Data Ethics Officer. As a senior member of the Privacy Office, the role will be responsible for supporting privacy compliance efforts globally, including creating policy and governance documentation, and advising on operations with privacy-related implications. This position will also provide dedicated privacy support for mergers and acquisitions, working closely with Cognizant's Corporate Development team and alongside other teams within the legal and compliance function to develop and maintain consistant end to end support on the execution of transactions globally.

This role would suit a smart and commercially minded privacy lawyer with interest and experience in M&A, either currently working in-house or looking for an in-house move.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic advice and direction on privacy issues across the global organization.
  • Serving as Cognizant's primary expert on data privacy law and compliance on M&A transactions globally.
  • Leading privacy due diligence on target companies, reviewing target material agreements, transaction documents and legal matters and providing advice on substantive risks associated with target business and operations.
  • Oversight of other privacy lawyers and professionals assigned to deals and compliance roles.
  • Actively engaging with other specialists supporting the Corporate Development department, including tax, finance and accounting, HR, IP, commercial contracting, ethics & compliance, IT and security.
  • Providing support to Corporate Development's integration group with respect to developing and executing on privacy specific integration plans for acquired businesses.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the work of outside M&A privacy counsel and managing budgets.
  • Proactively identifying, evaluating and managing privacy risks in a way that enables the organisation to deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Maintaining and updating the Privacy Office's M&A privacy due diligence and integration playbooks and providing appropriate training to the wider Privacy Office and other key M&A stakeholders.
  • Reporting to senior leadership on transactional privacy risks, mitigation plans and their status.
  • Ensuring that the Privacy Office is seen as an essential business partner and enabler by Cognizant senior leaders including Corporate Development.

Experience Requirements:

  • Extensive years of post-qualification experience of senior in-house or private practice experience in privacy or a closely related compliance function.
  • Qualified lawyer or hold equivalent level privacy law qualifications.
  • Deep knowledge of global privacy, cybersecurity and data protection laws including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, GLBA, Marketing related requirements and CAN-SPAM, US State privacy laws, LGPD, and PIPEDA.
  • In-house or Coprorate M&A experience including exposure with SaaS, Cloud, commercial contracts and experience within the technology sector.
  • Proven leadership experience in suppprting complex deals and working in a complex, matrixed, cross-organizational global environment.
  • Used to working automously, taking responsibilities and advising on privacy aspects of stragetic M&A activity.
  • Ability to collaborate, and build relationships and drive successful results through partnerships and collaboration across multiple regions and sectors.
