As a Automation Test Manager, you will you will engage regularly with executive level stakeholders and possess the imagination, focus and drive to deliver critical business projects on time, holding yourself and your team to excellent quality standards. for our client.

The duties of the Automation Test Manager will include but not be limited to:

• To line manage individual test analysts ensuring that all work is started, controlled and completed to time and quality and to report accurate MI regarding progress.
• To mentor and coach the Test team, sharing best practice/knowledge.
• Determines whether test phases will be automated and selects and implements appropriate test tools
• Produces the overall test delivery plan defining the business and IT test deliverable milestones
• Uses different approaches to estimate timescales, effort and costs for the testing phases
• Defines roles and responsibilities for the test team including specific responsibility for production of all test deliverables

Essential skills and experience:

• Hands on experience with Automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver
• Excellent knowledge of best practice test tools and techniques.
• Coach and mentor team members
• Able to drive creative thinking, beyond the boundaries of current knowledge base.
• Challenges others to develop individually whilst serving as a role model.
