Technical Customer Service / Project Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join a successful and growing software company within Workforce Management solutions. Due to expansion this is an additional headcount within the business. The role will be covering the North of England though mostly the North West initially.

The Role

The Software Implementation Manager is results focused and has a proven track record of working successfully with clients. Our Project Delivery Team co-ordinates the successful delivery of multiple parallel projects using a well thought out delivery process. As part of this team, the Software Implementation Manager will work closely with clients taking a balanced and measured view of implementing projects and aligning client requirements.

This will include gathering the client’s requirements, implementing these requirements and guiding the client through each step of the process up to and including go live and handover to the Support Team.

The Software Implementation Manager is comfortable working with clients, steering and guiding them through the process of Workforce Management (T&A and eRostering) projects and will typically be responsible for:

  • Understanding the required solution & working with clients to define requirements
  • Documenting the client requirements and the solution deliverables
  • Building and implementing the client configuration
  • Technically implementing the solution for the client
  • Liaising with our Development Team on customisations
  • Coordinating with the client’s technical staff to deliver
  • Coordinating internally the delivery of training and hardware installation with the relevant departments
  • Guiding / managing the client from scope to UAT to rollout

Candidates Attributes

Required:

  • Experience in managing projects and configuring client software
  • Experience of working in a very fast paced and demanding environment

Desirable:

  • T&A software and Rostering experience or similar i.e. Retail
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in using MS Project

Skills:

A 3rd Line IT Support Field Engineer is required by a customer-centric organisation based in Dorset. Must have experience in installing, configuring and supporting IT solutions and have a full UK driving license.

Duties:
