Web Developer – Job Opportunity

An award winning Digital Creative Agency based in Liverpool are in the market for a Web Developer to join their team and are offering up to £25k DOE.

Joining an international company and reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible to develop and maintain websites that adhere to technical specifications and approved designs, using in-house content management system. As well as this you will also develop prototypes and creative solutions solving problems.

Location: Liverpool

Salary: up to £25,000 per annum DOE

Ideal Skills Required:

  • 2+ years’ experience within a digital agency
  • 2+ years of proven development experience is essential in JavaScript (including AJAX/JSON) / jQuery / HTML/CSS (CSS Pre Processor beneficial) / XML
  • Understanding and adhering to best coding practices, which meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Standard
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably GitHub

Further Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver responsive websites and prototypes - Utilising valid HTML, XML and CSS to strict web standards and cross browser / platform compliancy.
  • Experience with CMS’s
  • Planning and implementation from functional requirements.
  • Project ownership. Attention for detail, performance, and optimisation
  • Provide technical guidance to Managers and Peers.
  • Delivery focused and commitment to achieving deadlines
  • Demonstrate initiative to solve problems

Our client based in Beccles, is seeking an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The role is Monday to Friday (37.5 hours), £9.28 an hour, rising to £10.79 an hour after a period of 12 weeks.

The Service Desk Analyst role will be providing effective and positive first line support through managing calls and handling the resulting incidents or service requests, supporting the service operation using the incident management and request fulfilment processes.

The role will include, but will not be restricted to;
- Working to Service Level Agreements
- To provide a comprehensive first line support to customers having difficulty with their IT facilities
- To provide assessment, categorisation and prioritisation for reported incidents
- First contact resolution where possible
- Data analysis

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a years experience in a similar role. Experience of working with ITIL processes is desirable.

Customer service is at the heart of everything they do, it is essential for you to have a previous record of providing excellent customer service. You will need to have great communication skills.

The Compliance Assistant Role

Working alongside the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Assistant will assist with ensuring that support and assistance in monitoring and reporting results of the compliance efforts of the company and in providing guidance for the senior management team on matters relating to compliance.

They will also assist with Implementing all necessary actions to meet the objectives of an effective compliance program including meeting all regulatory and legislative requirements and identifying areas of excellence.
