Desktop Engineer

Location: Blackburn

Day rate: £24,000 - £27,000

You will be working on fast-paced support desk with a group of highly competent support engineers. On a day-to-day, you will be supporting the organisation's internal infrastructure by providing support for issues with desktops, servers, firewalls and hardware.

This will suit a current 3rd Line Desktop Support Engineer who is seeking a fresh challenge within a collaborative team environment, where you will be given structured plans and opportunities to progress your technical career.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong customer facing and interpersonal skills
- Solid history of 2nd/3rd line support
- Strong Windows 7 & 10
- Windows server 2012
- Office 365 Administration
- Networking & server administration i.e. DNS, DHCP, Active Directory etc
- Adhere to SLAs,
- Windows Imaging \ deployment\ rollout experience
- Cloud technologies \ Encryption knowledge beneficial e.g., Bitlocker, MDM, Teams etc
